About GUDA drum Plus Flower of Life
Model GUDA drum Plus – it is a big tongue drum with nine petals and GUDA drum Plus differs from GUDA drum Standart presence of additional (bass) petal at the top of the instrument.
Additional bass note mimics sound of handpans ding to a significant degree and expands the possibilities of this drum.
Also, like other petals, bass is tuned in octave of overtone, providing a living and rich sound.
Bass lobe can be configured in the tonic (the main note ranks) that makes it easy and intuitive to build melodic lines while playing on the GUDA.
GUDA drum Plus Flower of Life is a large tongue musical instrument 50cm in diameter from stainless steel. It has eight petals in a circle and a ninth bass note in the center.
The basis is an innovative tone setting as on the Standart model, but the Plus model has a hole in the lower hemisphere which also serves as a resonator. Similarly to the Standart model, the Plus model has a high-quality pure sound. It resonates deeply with a long sustain. The bass note in the center provides more opportunities for creating rhythmic compositions and expands the dynamic range of melodies.
